Water: You should store at least one gallon of water per person per day. A normally active person needs at least one-half gallon of water daily just for drinking.
Food: A person needs about 400-500 calories. But its not suggested, a healthy person would have about 1200-1500 calories a day or more. You may need to have canned food so that it wouldn't be expired or have any bugs or anything.
Clothes: You should have at least two shirts, a pairs of jeans(including the ones your wearing), and two pairs of socks and underwear, also get some comfortable shoes and also don't forget your sweater.
Flashlight/Batteries: When choosing a flash light you should have more than two because if your in a group and you decide to split apart you need to carry a flashlight. You should have long lasting batteries because you don't want them to run out fast.
Tools: For survival you need somethings of protect yourself and your family like....
